How Exactly is Arizona Orthotics Unique? Part III – Precision Calibration

Here at Arizona Orthotics we proudly offer the only precision calibrated custom foot orthotic ON THE MARKET.

Calibration involves putting every custom orthotic into a high pressure chamber for testing.

Once the orthotic is inside the chamber an air bladder is continuously filled until there’s enough pressure against the orthotic to make it flex down, just like your foot would when you stand on it.

Next, a digital pin moves along the undersurface of the orthotic.

This pin measures the exact distance the orthotic shell deflects as a result of the downward pressure exerted.

Then we can fine-tune exactly how much flex your orthotic has to ensure it’s perfect for YOUR body weight, YOUR foot flexibility and YOUR activity level.

In other words, every orthotic is precision calibrated to have just the right amount of flex so each foot can transition between pronation and supination with ease.

This is how foot problems begin to heal.

If you need a hearing aid, do they just measure the overall size of your ear?

Again, no.

They make a careful impression of your ear canal and measure your hearing capacity to ensure your hearing aid meets the specific needs of your ear.
