Many injuries can be prevented by looking first to the foot.
Problems begin when pronation becomes excessive or prolonged.
This is called overpronation.
When the foot is too flat, the arch and all of the surrounding soft tissue are unable to properly absorb shock.
In fact, 95% of us have flat feet meaning that there is a 30% loss in efficiency right off the bat!
Signs of poor shock absorption include shin splints, tendinitis, and stress fracture.
